About the role

We’re looking for a reliable, experienced Multi-Skilled / Trade Operative to join our growing team. Working across a variety of commercial and public sector sites, you’ll be responsible for delivering a high standard of planned and reactive maintenance, minor works, and general building repairs.

This is a mobile role, requiring a flexible, hands-on approach and a strong focus on health, safety, and customer satisfaction. You’ll work closely with our helpdesk, supervisors, and clients to ensure every task is completed efficiently and professionally, in line with our SERVICE values.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out multi-trade repairs (e.g. carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling, minor electrics)
  • Diagnosing faults and delivering right-first-time fixes
  • Completing compliance-related repairs and minor project works
  • Ensuring safe working practices and full adherence to company procedures
  • Accurately completing job records and reporting updates via mobile devices
  • Representing Swallow Site Services with professionalism on-site

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in a multi-trade or general building maintenance role
  • NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in a core trade preferred
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • A proactive attitude, excellent communication skills, and pride in your work
  • Willingness to travel and take part in out-of-hours / on-call rota (as required)
